Today is the day! Star Trek Online: Unleashed beams down to PC as the Season 34 update. This new update expands the Borg Multiversal War and brings Star Trek: Picard stars Jeri Ryan and Jonathan Del Arco to the game once again. Both reprise their roles as Seven of Nine and Director Hugh for the new in-game story mission “Best Laid Plans“. Console players for the game will need to wait till November 11th for Season 34.
Starting today, PC players can team up for a daring extraction mission in the latest episode, “Best Laid Plans”, battle in a high-stakes five-player Task Force Operation, and experience the newest arc in the ongoing Borg Multiversal War. In the latest story, captains are called to lead a high-risk extraction operation, targeting key Aetherian leader Thaseen-Fei. This pivotal mission drops players into challenging scenarios set in familiar territory, with dangers that will test even the most seasoned captains. The latest chapter serves as a critical turning point in the escalating conflict with the Aetherians.
New Story Adventures for Star Trek Online: Unleashed
As with previous Star Trek Online Season Updates, a new episode for the storyline is being released. This is titled “Best Laid Plans“. Starship captains will need to answer a call to action from Hugh (Jonathan Del Arco). For those unfamiliar with the game’s storyline, which is separate from the events on screen, Hugh is the acclaimed Cooperative Borg Leader and Director of the Reclamation Project. He’s requesting your presence at Deep Space Nine.
With incoming intelligence revealing “Thaseen-Fei’s” location, team up with Hugh, special ops contact Seven of Nine (Jeri Ryan), and other allies in a daring extraction mission that could shift the balance of power in the Star Trek Universe. Mary Chieffo also makes an appearance as Chancellor L’Rell, faction Leader of the Klingon Empire. Several others reprise their roles (Brook Chalmers as Admiral Quinn, Erik Braa as Proconsul D’Tan, Michele Specht as Thaseen-Fei, Kai Vilhelmsen as Grendat-Bex & more).

Additionally, Star Trek Online: Unleashed will also debut a new Task Force Operation. This will be called “Shattered Peace“. Players will need to team up and respond to a distress call as Khitomer HQ comes under siege. Once again, you’ll team up with Seven of Nine in orbit to repel multiple enemy incursions, all while she battles threats on the ground. This will see you taking on waves of attackers, which even include former allies turned hostile. Up to 5 players can join this Space-based Task Force Operation.
In “Shattered Peace”, Jeri Ryan reprises her role as Seven of Nine. Several others reprise their roles, including Dave Rivas as Captain Tarsev, Daniel Ross as Bright Eyes, Lani Minella as T’Ket, and more.
