It’s been a tough month for Star Trek fans. While the 60th Anniversary should be a time for celebration, unfortunately, fans have instead been handed the news that the last running active Star Trek production, Starfleet Academy, has been cancelled. While that news may be disappointing to some, the Star Trek merch producers are still firing on all cylinders.
We still have Starfleet Academy Season 2, as well as the fourth season and final episodes of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds to air. So we can only hope that by the time those episodes are out, there might be an exciting new series on the horizon. In the meantime, Star Trek’s merchandise is oddly… Active? We seem to be getting more now than we did when multiple shows were in production simultaneously. Read on below for the latest!

EXO-6
Starting off again in the world of 1:6 scale figures through EXO-6. March has seen pre-orders open for a couple of figures first teased at the Vegas convention years ago. They’ve been eagerly anticipated ever since, and both are expected to start shipping in Q3 this year!
We started out with a figure for perhaps the most important person in Starfleet history. Miles O’Brien. Joining the rest of the DS9 figures in the First Contact Grey uniform. O’Brien is available with the typical DS9 away team kit. Including the station crews most commonly used phaser rifle. Plus a bonus interphasic coil spanner. Adding Miles to your collection will set you back $235 unless you’re in the US, where duties see the price rise to $249.50.
A couple of weeks later, he was joined on the pre-order line-up by TNG’s Number One himself, Will Riker. Like most of Exo-6’s TNG lineup. Riker is available in two versions. The cut-down (and cheaper) essential version with just a phaser and tricorder. Then, a more comprehensive Standard version. Adding a few different extra hands, a TNG PADD and one of the Enterprise D’s iconic Ten Forward chairs.
So you can replicate the Riker Manoeuvre at home in 1:6 scale. The essential Riker is available for $225/239.50, and the standard is $235/249.50.

Corgi
Better known in the UK, perhaps, for their non-space-faring die-cast ranges. Corgi is nonetheless a brand that most will be familiar with. They have dipped their toes into the world of Star Trek several times over the years. They hit the year running with the HMS Bounty/B’Rel class Bird of Prey hitting shelves in January.
This month saw the release of its accompanying ship from Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. To coincide with the film’s 40th anniversary. The Enterprise A. Available now from Corgi’s website for £64.99 on its own. Or for £99.99 with the HMS Bounty as part of a Voyage Home bundle. Also including a Raven Forge Starfleet Delta bottle opener!
They also teased an upcoming release. The Enterprise-E. Within a larger blog post detailing the work put into the Enterprise A. This featured exclusive photos of the unpainted engineering sample! If this sample is anything to go by. The E will be a must-have for many Star Trek fans. Let’s hope we also get a Nemesis variant!

Master Replicas
The number of Trek products being shown off by Master Replicas also isn’t slowing down! Quite the opposite in fact… This month saw announcements of a sizeable expansion to the Starship Library line. As well as two new figures!
The Starship Library. Which includes a ship model, stand, and an accompanying book about the starship, is being expanded to include: USS Europa (Star Trek Discovery), Section 31 Nimrod Class (Star Trek Discovery), USS Enterprise (Star Trek The Original Series), and USS Voyager (Star Trek Voyager). All of which are selling for £34.99 + shipping.
But you can’t have a ship without a crew. Also announced this month are Master Replicas action figures for Captain Pike (Strange New Worlds) and D’Vana Tendi (Star Trek: Lower Decks), both available at the lower price of £27.99 + shipping.

Nacelle Toys
Appearing at Wondercon this weekend, Nacelle Toys has given fans another sneak peek at their upcoming Star Trek: The Original Series– centred wave 3. Joining the previously teased Spock and Uhura, we now also have our first look at Dr McCoy! Along with Nacelle’s outstanding selection of accessories for the figure.
Pre-orders aren’t yet open for wave 3. But McCoy will come with brandy glasses, an 8″ biobed, as well as his Original Series phaser, communicator, PADD, Tricorder and a hyprospray. Whether you plan to play or display, there’s plenty offered in this one figure package.
Speaking of display, we mentioned last month that Nacelle had announced a Bridge playset. Well, we now have our first look at a piece of it! The iconic red door turbolift of the Enterprise bridge. But not just the Enterprise, and the set will include alternate dedication plaques so you can display the bridge of your favourite Constitution class.

Make sure to check out last month’s merch round-up to see more of the Star Trek merchandise hitting shelves or planned for the rest of the year. We’ll see you towards the end of April with the next edition!
