The Star Trek Universe is boldly returning to San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) in 2026, with Paramount confirming a major Hall H presentation. This includes a special celebration marking the franchise’s 60th Anniversary. However, event attendees will also get to see the cast and crew of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, along with screenings of episodes from the upcoming fourth season. Additionally, multiple other activations are taking place across the event week. This includes LEGO, Magic: The Gathering & more!
Taking place on Saturday, July 25, the main event will bring together cast members and creative teams from across the modern Star Trek Universe, alongside a celebration of six decades since the original series first premiered in 1966. The announcement comes as Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 4 begins streaming on the same week as SDCC 2026!

Star Trek Returns to Hall H
The centrepiece of Star Trek’s Comic-Con presence will once again be Hall H, where fans can expect cast appearances, behind-the-scenes discussions, exclusive reveals, and first looks at what’s next for the franchise. We’ve seen this many times over the last few years. Paramount usually uses this Hall H event to announce new series, release the latest trailers and generally celebrate all things Star Trek!
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will take centre stage during the presentation, with stars including Anson Mount, Ethan Peck, Rebecca Romijn, Christina Chong, Celia Rose Gooding, and Melissa Navia, who will participate alongside executive producers Akiva Goldsman, Henry Alonso Myers, and Alex Kurtzman.
While Paramount has yet to reveal exactly what will be shown during the panel, expect exclusive footage, production updates, and a few surprises. As mentioned, Strange New Worlds will air at the start of the Fourth Season on July 23rd. So perhaps we’ll see teasers for the rest of the season. However, maybe we will also get a glimpse at the future of the Star Trek Universe.

Celebrating 60 Years of Star Trek
Variety reports that, following the Star Trek: Strange New Worlds panel, the focus will shift to celebrating Star Trek’s 60th Anniversary. The legendary William Shatner let slip about this event earlier this year. It seems right after the SNW segment, the Star Trek Universe panel will celebrate the 60th anniversary with multiple past cast members joining the stage.
Michael Dorn, Robert Picardo, Connor Trinneer, Cirroc Lofton, Doug Jones, Michelle Hurd, Jerry O’Connell, Christina Chong, Karim Diané, and the legendary George Takei are all expected to take to the stage. A special intro from Eugene “Rod” Roddenberry will also introduce the segment. There are no major details on what this section of the panel will include.

Additional Star Trek Activities at SDCC!
Comic-Con attendees will also have the opportunity to attend a special fan screening of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds on Friday evening, giving audiences an early chance to experience the series as Season 4 gets underway. The series is also on the official event badges for this year’s convention. The screening will take place at the Balboa Theatre in San Diego on July 24.
Doors open at 6 pm PT with the screening beginning at 7 pm. Admission is free, but RSVPs are required via a reservation system for entry. Tickets are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. No badge is required for entry.
A limited-edition t-shirt is available for purchase exclusively at the Official Comic-Con Merch Shop in the Marriott.
On July 23, fans can attend the “Star Trek: The Collector Frontier” panel in room 5AB from 11-12 pm PT. That will feature the Paramount product & experiences team, along with the LEGO Group and “Magic: The Gathering,” as they delve into products inspired by the “Star Trek” franchise, including meeting the toy creators who design the collaborations. Prizes will also be up for grabs.

On the convention floor, visitors can stop by the Paramount+ booth (#3529), where a selection of arcade-style attractions inspired by Paramount+ originals will be available. Among them is a special Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Bridge Command Memory Game that allows attendees to test their skills aboard the Enterprise.
Just outside the convention centre, the Paramount+ Lodge at “Happy Does on Fifth Avenue” will host a Port Galley-inspired experience. The venue will also showcase the original U.S.S. Enterprise filming model, courtesy of the Roddenberry Estate. The lodge will be open from July 22nd through July 26th. Tickets are sold out, but it has been reported a “Stand-By” queue will be in place.
Meanwhile, at the Marriott Marquis on West Harbour Drive, fans can explore the Star Trek: Boldly Built activation. Running from July 23rd to July 26th, the exhibit brings together Star Trek-inspired creations from both the LEGO Group and Magic: The Gathering, alongside themed displays and photo opportunities.
Rounding out the celebrations is the Star Trek Fleet Command: 60 Years of Star Trek archives experience at The Sinclair on G Street. Open from July 24th to July 26th, the interactive showcase will feature official archive artefacts, a Holodeck VR experience, themed photo opportunities, exclusive merchandise giveaways, prize-filled claw machines, and a commemorative photo station. The festivities will also include a special invite-only gathering for the Star Trek Fleet Command community on Friday evening.
