As we have come to expect, Star Trek at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 gives us official panels from Paramount+. The Star Trek Universe takes over Hall H—the largest venue at SDCC—for an action-packed 90-minute session running from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM Pacific Time. That is 20:30 BST to 22:00 BST for UK fans. This year’s panel promises to deliver content focusing on the two remaining Trek programmes currently in production following the conclusion of several other series in the franchise earlier this year.
The presentation will be guided by none other than veteran actor Robert Picardo. His involvement adds a nostalgic touch to proceedings, particularly meaningful given his upcoming return to the character in one of the showcased series. This is Star Trek: Starfleet Academy, which will feature its panel during this showcase. Perhaps we might catch a glimpse of the upcoming live-action series.
Sadly, the Hall H panel is unlikely to be live-streamed. As such, you can keep up to date with the latest announcements by following Trek Central on our social platforms below.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 3 at SDCC 2025
The first portion of the panel will focus on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, which premiered its third season on July 17th. Given we’ve already seen the first two episodes, and with the third set to release on Thursday, 24th, it begs the question of what we will see at SDCC. However, here at Trek Central, we think this would be Paramount+’s golden opportunity to give an extended look at what the USS Enterprise will be doing in the third season. It’s also a great time to get a preview of the fourth season.
Confirmed participants from the Strange New Worlds ensemble include Rebecca Romijn (who portrays Una Chin-Riley), Ethan Peck (Spock), Jess Bush (Christine Chapel), Christina Chong (La’an Noonien-Singh), and Paul Wesley (James T. Kirk). The creative team will be represented by executive producers and co-showrunners Akiva Goldsman and Henry Alonso Myers, alongside executive producer Alex Kurtzman.

A Reveal for Star Trek: Starfleet Academy at SDCC 2025
We’ve seen nothing from the next live-action Star Trek series. However, Star Trek at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 might give us the first official look at Star Trek: Starfleet Academy. With very little information available about this series, it is now a great time to glimpse the future of the Star Trek Universe. If we don’t get a trailer, we might be a little upset.
The Star Trek: Starfleet Academy segment will feature an impressive lineup of talent, including actress Holly Hunter alongside newcomers Sandro Rosta, Karim Diané, Kerrice Brooks, George Hawkins, and Bella Shepard. Executive producer Alex Kurtzman returns to the stage for this portion, joined by co-showrunner Noga Landau.
With Robert Picardo confirmed to reprise his role as The Doctor in Starfleet Academy, his position as moderator creates a dynamic as he guides discussion about a series in which he participates. Many speculate and hope that this segment of Star Trek’s time at San Diego Comic-Con 2025 will provide more information about the series. Only time will tell.

Star Trek Activations at San Diego Comic-Con!
While all focus might be on the official Star Trek Universe panel, SDCC actually includes some fantastic activations. These typically take place on the event show floor. However, some are also located outside of the event, meaning you don’t need a ticket to the show. Perfect if you are in the local area. Take a look at some of the activations below.
Strange New Worlds Immersive Performances on July 26th!
On Saturday, July 26, the Gaslamp Quarter will transform into a living stage, as fans journey through five immersive, “strange new worlds” inspired by this season’s genre-bending episodes: a noir murder mystery, a zombie horror, a 60s retro mission, a Vulcan wedding, and plenty of sci-fi mayhem.
This bold, live performance, created by JFI Productions and their performers, is more than an exhibition; it is a chance to step into the story. Star Trek performances will be taking place at the Interactive Zone at Petco Park between 15:00 and 16:00. and outside the Paramount+ Lodge at Happy Does (340 Fifth Ave.) between 18:00 and 20:00.
The Lodge: A Paramount+ Experience
Star Trek: Strange New Worlds and Star Trek: Starfleet Academy will also be featured activations at Paramount+’s The Lodge, the hit fan experience that transports guests into the worlds of their favourite movies and shows on Paramount+. The interactive takeover will be available during Comic-Con at Happy Does (340 Fifth Ave, San Diego, CA 92101). As this is not an official Comic-Con event, an SDCC badge is not required.

Star Trek Merchandise at SDCC 2025
A wide range of Star Trek merchandise will be revealed and available for purchase on the show floor. For example, Master Replicas will be at Booth #121 with their exclusive “Logic-Y Plush”. Additionally, they will also have a handful of other Star Trek-related items on sale and display at the event.
The Nacelle Company, who are set to release an exciting range of Star Trek action figures, will also be on the show floor. You can find them at Booth #2547 across the event. However, the team will also have a panel at the event. Brian Volk-Weiss, the CEO of the Nacelle Company, will be in Room 32AB on Thursday, July 24th, at 16:00-17:00 PT. He and the team will discuss their Star Trek action figure line and other topics.
