Star Trek Merchandise has certainly been up and down over the last few years. However, out in the final frontier, there are some galaxy-class examples of fantastic merchandise. CherryTree is one of those companies that offers Star Trek fans unique merchandise that you can’t find elsewhere. Some may remember one of their big entries into the fandom with Star Trek: Picard Season One. This is the Borg Cube PC. That product is still on-sale today, and it’s fantastic.
Amid Star Trek product makers ending their licenses with Paramount-Skydance, CherryTree has announced it has renewed its deal. This is fantastic news, especially as it’s the 10th Anniversary of the CherryTree brand later this year. Additionally, it’s also Star Trek’s 60th Anniversary, great timing!
Trek Central’s Captain Jack recently sat down with CherryTree CEO, Martin Roth. In this interview, Martin talks about coming up with interesting Star Trek products, including CherryTree’s range of Star Trek PC systems, Klingon keyboards, and other items from their store. Take a watch of it on YouTube below.
CherryTree Renews License
Announced January 2nd 2026, CherryTree has renewed its license with Paramount. This actually happened several months ago, according to Martin’s blog post on the brand’s website. Given that many licensees have stopped their Star Trek lines, for one reason or another, CherryTree decided to announce its renewal. CherryTree has also announced that its license has been extended for two more Star Trek shows and a few new product lines.
To mark the 10th Anniversary of CherryTree Computers, they’ll be celebrating with great sales throughout 2026. Given that 2026 is also the 30th Anniversary of Star Trek: First Contact, Martin has said CherryTree will have a “few new exciting” Borg Cubes in the pipeline, to be released soon. Stay tuned for news on that.

Of course, the Star Trek 60th Anniversary is being celebrated all throughout 2026! CherryTree are also taking part in the celebrations. Martin has confirmed CherryTree now has the license for Star Trek: The Original Series. This means the company can make products with assets and related materials from that show. It seems the team have some new products coming up, which we’ll be keeping an eye out for!
