Alongside the Star Trek extravaganza in Hall H of San Diego Comic Con today, fans have been treated to a sneak peek of Strange New Worlds Season 4! Read on for the highlights and the sneak peek itself!
Space. It’s a beautiful thing. You just have to want to see it.

The trailer kicks off with an optimistic note from Captain Pike (Anson Mount), hints of The Original Series theme dancing quietly through it, before the Enterprise is hurled violently through space. From here we get several glimpses of future episodes. We see an away team beaming down to a strange new world. Doctor M’Benga (Babs Olusanmokun) hooked up to something and looking concerned. Kirk (Paul Wesley) offering Spock (Ethan Peck) a rather awkward-looking hug.
We have returning races, including the Orions, one of whom shoots a phaser from Spock’s hand. We also have Klingons joining us in the upcoming noir episode, and we get a look at a potential Andorian strike team too.
This sneak peek also offers glimpses of returning characters, including Spock’s former fiancée, T’Pring (Gia Sandhu), and the infamous Trelane (Rhys Darby).
It looks like we can expect more exploration and space battles, potentially with new life forms (does anyone recognise that large ship attacking the Enterprise?). And of course, what series of Star Trek would be complete without a fire-breathing dragon torching a starship’s hull?
It looks like a lot is packed into Season 4, and the good news is we don’t have long to wait to experience it! Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Episode 1 is out now, with future episodes airing every Thursday on Paramount+.
