SNEAK PEAK – Star Trek: Picard Season 2 Episode #6 “Two Of One”

Picard is the star of the show! No not Jean-Luc, we’re talking about Renee Picard. I guess it is a good thing that the series is named “Star Trek: Picard” after all. This week on Star Trek: Picard Season 2 Episode #6, we’ve got it all going on. While the focus may be on Renee and protecting the timeline, along with her, there are other powers at work. The episode title is “Two of One“, likely referencing the Borg Queen (Annie Wersching) now being in Jurati’s mind.

Jonathan Frakes returns to direct episode 6, along with this week’s writers, Cindy Appel & Jane Maggs. The official Star Trek: Picard Season 2 Episode #6 “Two Of One” reads as follows:

With the help of Tallinn, Picard and the crew infiltrate a gala on the eve of a joint space mission, to protect one of the astronauts they believe to be integral to the restoration of the timeline – Renee Picard. Kore makes a startling discovery about her father’s work.

Star Trek: Picard Season 2 Episode #6 – Main Trailer

Agnes Jurati takes the stage in this week’s trailer for Star Trek: Picard Season 2. While Jurati and the Borg Queen may be the focus of the show, above all, all eyes are on Renee Picard. Speaking of Picard, this trailer gives us a big cliffhanger. Jean-Luc Picard is found unconscious on the floor of the event hall. However, stick with us, I’ve got some theories.

Jean-Luc knocked out? Given last week’s revelation about the Borg Queen now sharing Jurati’s headspace, It’s likely she can also control Agnes. Previously in Star Trek: Picard Season 2 trailers, we’ve seen a woman in a red dress walking down a road. This woman we now know is Doctor Agnes Jurati. However I’m thinking that Jurati/Queenie break free and go on the run, taking out Picard who tries to stop them.

We’ve still got scenes we’ve not seen from the trailer. Additionally, These scenes include more police surrounding Picard and the crew, as well as Elnor somewhat alive? I’m personally still betting that the Borg Queen uses nanites to bring him back.

The Ready Room Trailer

Star Trek: Picard Season 2 Episode #6 Ready Room trailer this week features a conversation between Jean-Luc and our Watcher. Tallinn (Orla Brady) as we now know her as reveals that Renee is still struggling but hiding it well. This conversation stands out, as it gives us more information about The Supervisors role. Additionally, Picard makes a move about who is actually watching over the watcher. Am I the only person who thinks of ” TNG: Who Watches the Watchers” here?

The Final Frontier For Star Trek: Picard Season 2 Episode #6

While Star Trek: Picard Season 2 Episode #6 may be the focus, we’ve got our eyes on the stars. Those stars are Star Trek: Strange New Worlds. Paramount+ PR has been dropping new trailers for the series and you’ll need to be in the loop with the show soon. However, it’s a few weeks until Pike’s series comes on-screen, so you’ve got plenty of time.
