Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown will feature “What If?” scenarios. This suggests that the player will be able to make different story choices from what we’ve seen in the show. They’ll decide how they want to play, whether that’s flying in all phasers firing or taking a more cautious approach. This means the game can be played in different ways with each playthrough. That could provide a fun variability that keeps us playing longer! Could there finally be Justice for Tuvix?
Did you ever wonder what would have happened had Captain Janeway decided differently? If an important crew member had followed a different path? Or what the outcome would have been had the crew of the U.S.S. Voyager embraced Borg technology to increase their chances of survival?

It appears there will be an involved ship and resource management system within Star Trek: Voyager – Across the Unknown. The player will have to repair Voyager room by room, system by system. Building new facilities is also on the cards – key to developing new research to help on the journey home.

Fail to command key skills at the right moment, and all could fall apart.

Unfortunately, no release date has been provided alongside the teaser trailer. What we do know is the game will be available on PC and Consoles, including Steam, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. In the meantime, we have Strange New Worlds releasing season 3 episodes weekly to enjoy. And sometime in early 2026 we will see Star Trek: Starfleet Academy‘s debut.
