Just in time for Star Trek Day 2025, Fanhome have revealed its next element of the Star Trek Starships collection. This is a 24k Gold-Plated USS Enterprise-G. Yes, the latest Enterprise in the Star Trek Universe, as shown in Star Trek: Picard. This is a limited edition item, with only 599 Units available worldwide. According to Fanhome, once this USS Enterprise-G model is gone, it will never be on sale again.
Currently, this Limited Edition Gold-Plated USS Enterprise-G is only available to Subscribers of Fanhome’s Star Trek Starships collection. For example, Subscribers can pick up the Enterprise-G from September 8th at 5 PM BST. However, if stock lasts, then a General sale date will take place on October 1st 2025. The price of the Gold model is $350 for collectors in the United States of America.
Details of the Gold-Plated USS Enterprise-G
Previous lines of Gold Starships for the Star Trek Universe have been very popular. Now, it’s time for Fanhome to take the reins with their Official Star Trek Starships collection. We’ve got some details about the Gold-Plated USS Enterprise-G. For example, this is 24-karat gold electroplating; the starship model also comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, which also includes a serial number. The starship model will also be 25cm Long!
Trekkies will also be getting a brand new “Exclusive” 32-page collectors’ magazine, which will be found inside a high-quality collectors’ box. Additionally, based on the pictures we have, the display stand will be the same as the ships in the main-line collection. Therefore, ensuring this model fits the aesthetic of the Starships already on shelves.
Fanhome have now debuted two models of the USS Enterprise-G. Well, technically, three if we count the USS Titan-A, which is basically the same starship. The first model in the new Star Trek Starships collection was the USS Titan-A, from Star Trek: Picard Season 3. However, Issue #8 of the collection was an XL Version of the ship, but with the name and registry changed to the USS Enterprise-G. It remains to be seen if the Gold-Plated USS Enterprise-G will have any different details from the previous two models, aside from the noticeable name changes.
Warping For Gold!
Today’s announcement and reveal of the Gold-Plated USS Enterprise-G from Fanhome is a great surprise. However, I will say it is a low number of models available to subscribers. Whether any will still be available for the general, non-subscriber community by October 1st will remain to be seen. However, on the other hand, this is likely a costly experiment for Fanhome. Keeping the numbers low limits costs if the interest in Gold Star Trek Starships does not pan out in the long run.
