Lately, it seems like MMO video game Star Trek Online has been firing on all cylinders. If you’ve been keeping up with the news, not only is there a returning CEO at the helm, but the latest content update only came out a few weeks ago. However, the developers over at Cryptic Studios are not slowing down with their Star Trek 60th Anniversary celebrations. The long-running game officially celebrates its 16th Anniversary, and what better way than paying tribute to the Birth of the Federation?
Publisher Arc Games and developer Cryptic Studios have released a cinematic tribute to the Birth of the Federation. You can watch this below. This documentary-style trailer is inspired by the founding of the United Federation of Planets in the Star Trek Universe. Additionally, Star Trek Online now has an “Enterprise Starships” bundle. This in-game bundle features a selection of ships from Star Trek: Enterprise, as well as new visual variants to match the game’s own timeline.
The 16th Anniversary Bundle is OUT NOW for PC players and will come to Xbox and PlayStation on April 7th. Star Trek Online is FREE-TO-PLAY.
