Star Trek Klingon Keyboard & Mouse Gaming Peripherals

-

We all remember the Star Trek: Picard Borg Cube PC case! The company behind that assimilating design, CherryTree, has expanded its Trek offerings to feature a complete Star Trek Klingon Keyboard & Mouse Gaming Peripherals set. Yes, you can now get a Klingon PC Keyboard in the entire Klingon language. Exciting!

CherryTree beamed over their brand new Star Trek Klingon Keyboard, USB mouse and mouse pad for us to check out. We’re super impressed. Finally, some quality Star Trek-licensed merchandise has been built for gaming setups. However, it’s worth saying this. Just because it says “gaming” in the product title, does not mean you have to just use it as that. While writing this article, I had the USB Keyboard plugged into my Mac desktop setup. You can use this anywhere.

Klingon Keyboard

We can all admit that Star Trek’s Klingon language is fascinating. It’s been a staple point of the sci-fi universe for decades now. Therefore, having a full USB Keyboard in the language is actually super cool. Of course, one downside is you might not know what a letter means in English. Still, a helpful guide will have you master this in no time. CherryTree’s Star Trek Klingon Keyboard is compatible with any Windows, Mac or Linux setup. Basically any interface with a USB port.

You might wonder where the Klingon language idea comes from. Well, Cherrytree teamed up with the Klingon Language Institute (KLI) for the keyboard layout to ensure the most accurate translations. You can learn more about the Klingon Language Institute below. I was rather impressed with the design of the keyboard. It actually has a space to hold your phone, perfect for me, who is always doing something on social media. The keyboard is backlit with Red LEDs, ideal for the colour of Blood Wine!

The Star Trek Klingon USB Keyboard is $49.99 and comes in either a painted finish or a non-painted finish. Personally, I recommend the painted finish for the full Klingon effect! Check out our pictures below to get an idea of the device.

Klingon Gaming USB Mouse

I’ve got to love the Klingon gaming mouse. Mainly because it has the Klingon Empire logo right on display on the mouse. The Klingon language is present, just like it is on the keyboard, on both the left and right click buttons. The design style of the “painted finish” really gives that war-torn Klingon aesthetic that we are familiar with in the Star Trek Universe. I mean one look at Star Trek: The Next Generation will show you that Klingon warships ae hardly pristine like Starfleet.

This wired mouse is compatible with any Windows, Mac, Linux, LCARS, or other computer interface with a USB port. The Neural Interface is optional. With RGB lighting, you can cycle through colors by clicking the central buttons on the mouse. Once again, the Klingon USB Mouse is also a product of the collaboration between CherryTree and the Klingon Language Institute.

You can pick up the Klingon USB Mouse for $24.99 via the CherryTree website.

Klingon Gaming Mouse Pad

Lately, I’ve loved having a mouse pad, or rather a large desk pad, to put my Keyboard and Mouse onto. It helps when you have a lot of devices on your desk. What makes CherryTree’s mouse pad a perfect pick is that it is decorated with the typical Klingon logo and graphics. The iconic logo and what appears to be a typical Klingon Bird of Prey ship graphic are on display.

Like the mouse and keyboard, the Klingon mouse pad is an officially licensed Star Trek product. It’s around 800mm x 300 mm size-wise and features a non-slip rubber base. A perfect match for CherryTree’s Star Trek Klingon Keyboard & mouse setup. You can pick up the gaming mouse pad for $29.95.
